To touch the
life of every student on every campus in every community with
the love and message of Jesus Christ before graduating High
School.
The Network

It’s what First Priority is, a network of students, youth
leaders, pastors, faculty sponsors, parents and local leaders.
Through networking, we can do what we can’t do alone. Things
like Student Leadership Summit, See You at The Pole Rallies,
School Assemblies and CityWide Events, can only happen by
working together.

Students

First Priority campus clubs are always student-initiated and
student-led. That means the heart, desire, burden and direction
come from the students themselves. While they can, and most
times do, have adult guidance, students make up the leadership
team for their school’s campus club. Using the GO Strategy, the
bless, pray, serve, and tell teams plan and promote club
meetings and provide on-campus ministry.

Faculty sponsor

Campus clubs must have a faculty member who volunteers to assist
the student leadership as needed. Some faculty sponsors are very
hands-off while others are involved on a daily basis. They
assist with facilities needs and problems that may arise there,
and act as a liaison to school administrators. As you can see,
the faculty sponsor is a very important part of the network.
Campus coach

Fusion
Youth Ministries Pastor Ralph Giachetti
Most times, a volunteer youth pastor serves in this capacity.
But the duties of a campus coach are often filled by a senior
pastor, parent or a teacher. Meeting with the student leaders,
the campus coach gives direction, helps maintain focus and
balance, and provides insight and ideas for club meetings and
ministry initiatives. He or she is invaluable to the students in
information and resourcing, and as their representative to the
church community.
Local church
An important goal of First Priority is to provide community and
ministry to our Christian students while at school. But an
equally important goal is to help kids from the school campus
locate and connect with a local church. Having local churches
and their staff involved in The Network makes that possible. The
local church can also provide resources and equipment, both for
on-campus and after school ministries.

Community
Communities who support campus ministry have learned a great
lesson: an investment into campus ministry is an investment into
the future of the community. Every city impacted by strong
campus ministry can see the benefits in better part-time
employees today and better citizens for their future. We are
proud of our relationships with Christian business leaders who
support with their finances and with their time, with pastors
and ministry teams who come alongside to offer their resources,
and with parents who appreciate the impact campus ministry can
have on our families. Through them, The Network is ministering
to the parents, business and community leaders, teachers and
pastors of tomorrow.
Doctrinal Statement

1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible,
authoritative Word of God.
2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three
persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His
virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His
vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His
bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the
Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
4. We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man,
regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by
whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to lead a godly life.
6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the
lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they
that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.
